City Hall Drop Box
If you need to make an after hours payment, or drop something off for the City, you can use our 24/7 drop box. The drop box is located adjacent to City Hall’s main entrance at 701 Fourth Street. View the drop box location (PDF).
By Phone
Pay your bill by phone 530-331-9107. There are no convenience fees or service charges, local call and it is easy to use!
The city’s pay by phone feature is the easiest secure way to quickly pay your utility bill. Simply call 530-331-9107, have your bill number handy (first six digits left of the dash) to enter into the call system, and your Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card number ready. Pay anytime, from anywhere, on the go, or at home.
Pay Online
The City’s easy to use and secure web based utility billing portal is now available to use. In addition to allowing customers to pay their bill online, the utility billing portal has customer account information, including twelve months of past water usage and billing history. The City of Yreka is also now accepting credit and debit card payments for utility bills. Customers can pay with cards online, at City Hall, or over the phone.
E-Statements
When you visit the City’s online utility billing portal, you can select to receiving an e-statement as soon as the billings are generated in addition to your paper statement.
Payment Deferrals
If you need a payment deferral on your utility bill due to unexpected life events (medical bills, job displacement), contact us at City Hall at 530-841-2386 to arrange a payment plan. You can view the utility shutoff information for 2022 here.
